Leah is in her ninth year at the Consumer Product Safety Commission, serving as a Supervisory Attorney in the Office of Compliance’s newly created Enforcement and Litigation Division. In this role, Leah supervises attorneys and compliance officers as they investigate consumer products that may pose a risk of injury to the public. She also leads and supervises attorneys engaged in civil penalty investigations. Prior to joining the CPSC, Leah was an attorney with the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, focused on children’s product safety. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Kentucky, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee.
